About Me
Hey there, I’m Kassandra (she/her)!
Before I was chasing golden light with my camera in Santa Cruz, I was chasing long hours on set in LA. I earned my degree in Film and Television Production from San Francisco State (go Gators!) and dove headfirst into the world of filmmaking as a camera assistant—15-hour days, wild schedules, and ever changing locations. It was exhilarating… until life handed me a new script.
Becoming a mom changed everything. Suddenly, the idea of those long days away from my future babies didn’t feel so glamorous. So, like many stories that unexpectedly take a turn for the better, I pivoted—and picked up my camera in a whole new way. That’s how my path led me here: documenting love, laughter, and connection as a Santa Cruz Wedding,Elopement and FamilyPortrait Photographer.
Family is everything to me. I’m a single mama to two incredible not-so-little ones, and our days are full of dance parties, nature hikes, AAU basketball tournaments, beach volleyball, spontaneous road trips, and big belly laughs.
When we work together, you’re not just getting a photographer—you’re getting the mom who notices the lint on your shirt and gently picks it off, the one who brings snacks and bandaids, and the goofball who might (okay, definitely will) crack a joke or two with the maturity level of a 16 year old boy. You might even laugh so hard you pee your pants—but don’t worry, just a little!
